We had a lovely stay at Bay Village Resort, which we found to be central and well-equipped. The apartment was comfortable, particularly the king-sized bed, and the spa bath was an indulgent touch. While the location made it easy to enjoy beaches, shops, and wineries, I felt the overall maintenance left something to be desired—especially considering the price we paid in the off-season.
I had high hopes for my stay, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Dunsborough and close to shops and the beach. However, the overall condition of the apartment left much to be desired, and the noise from the building work next door was unbearable at times. While there were some positive aspects, like the two bathrooms and laundry facilities, the main issues overshadowed them, making the experience less than ideal.
Our stay at the Bay Village Resort & Spa had its highs and lows. The location was absolutely fantastic, making it easy to explore the town and enjoy nearby Geographe Bay. The cottage was cozy and well-equipped, but the noise from the neighboring tavern made for some restless nights. Additionally, I was disappointed with the maintenance of the facilities given the price we paid, especially when housekeeping fell short.
I had a wonderful long weekend at the hotel with my girlfriends. The central location made it easy to walk to shopping centers and the beach, which was definitely a highlight. Our unit was clean, tidy, and beautifully presented, giving it a lovely ambiance. On the downside, I noticed a few minor inconveniences that could be improved, but overall it was a great experience.
My stay was quite disappointing overall. While the location was great, right in the heart of town and close to everything we needed, the room condition left much to be desired. The old-fashioned decor and maintenance issues made it feel more like a rundown place than a resort. There were some utilities that just didn’t work well, and the pool was also not in great shape. I wouldn't say it was worth the price I paid.
